Hello from the Pastor

Hello,

My name is Matt Green. I'm the pastor at Yankton Baptist Church. My wife, Debbie, and I moved here July 4th, 2009.

It's been a real blessing and challenge to be here. I wouldn't have changed much about moving here. Debbie and I have had the opportunity to meet and get to know many people. Some of them will be precious to us for eternity. Some we got to know for only a short while. One will be in our hearts forever.

We look forward with love and fear. We have had the opportunity to get a glimpse of what it was like to be parents. It is a breath-taking experience. One that we won't ever forget. Being a foster parent is a real challenge and a real blessing.

We wish we could keep them all, but we understand that it doesn't always work out. They have touched our lives and we won't ever forget them.
