Preaching: Here at Yankton Baptist Church, we believe that God’s Word is the best teacher available to us. As such, our pastor preaches expository, Biblical messages each Sunday morning. This means he goes verse-by-verse through books of the Bible.  This ensures you receive the whole counsel of God, and not just what the minister wants to talk about. This also makes it very difficult to pull verses out of context and make them say what you want instead of what God intended. One of our favorite sayings is, “Context determines content.”
 
Worship: Here at YBC we practice a blended style of worship. This means we utilize contemporary praise and worship music, as well as the tried and true older hymns of the faith. We believe the purpose of worship is to honor the Lord Jesus Christ and we plan our services to give Him the praise, honor and glory that is His and His alone.
